When i send my MIX Stereo output out of my Tascam 2488 and use a SINGAL BOOSTER when it RETURNS to a CD record it OVERLOADS the input

OR when i put SINGAL BOOSTER to increase the DB ratio signal level like making it 50db louder going into the INPUT channel on my tascam 2488 on TRACK#1 it overloads the input channel

How can i get more DB signal booster signals INTO my Tascam 2488 without distorting or overloading the input channel

What external out board gear do u guys use to SIGNAL BOOST the stereo MIX to get 50db or more without distorting or overloading ??

How do u RETURN it to Protools sound card without overloading or distorting the RETURN inputs after its been SINGAL BOOSTED to 25db or 50db ??

How do u route and use BD signal boosting for mixing and recording??

What plug ins do u guys use for SIGNAL BOOSTING for more DB power and gain structor ONLY CLEAN Signal boosting not overdriving or distortion pure Clean DB signal boosting for more HEADROOM??

Do you mean BD or DB? Because if it's BD that's an abbreviation for Bass Drum and if it's DB that's an abbreviation for DeciBels.

You'll have to clear this up before we can answer.

Generally speaking, I generally use the external stereo MIX 50db SIGNAL BOOSTER with the 50dB stereo mix preset.

I saw McGiver do this once by splitting the 50db Mix stereo Signal Booster with his swiss army knife into two 25db mono singals, apply the boost and then crossdressing them back together. The signal got alot louder.

If you don't have the Swiss Army Knife plug in, you can down load it for free at Kazaa.

That's the problem. You are using a SINGAL BOOSTER.

Everyone knows that a SINGAL BOOSTER is not enough to achieve escape velocity. You need at least a DOUBAL BOOSTER. Then you may have enough to even get out of the Solar System entirely.

If you can achieve near light speed, by the time you return all of us will probably be dead. Given that fact, you may even find many of us here would be willing to contribute to your travel expenses.

4 words: Cable Television Distribution Amplifier.

For maybe $70 at Radio Shack you can get a distribution amp and a handful of 1/4" to coaxial cable adapters and boost the level of up to four lines at once. And you'll be able to watch "The Shield" in Adobe Audition to boot.

Use two Ibanez tube screamers, one each for left and right. Start with the distortion turned all the way down, and use the level controls as variable boost knobs. Then you can use the distortion knobs to dial in some tube warmth.

I believe Radiohead did this when they mastered OK Computer. The pedals were modded to be a linked stereo pair.

If your CD recorder can't handle the 50db increase, then you need a more expensive one. Protools also isn't expensive enough to handle it.
