Bass guitar frequencies?

I've searched around the internet but haven't been able to find the answer I need. Here's my dilemma. I'm looking for a wireless setup for my bass to gig with. The problem is, the one I have now doesn't like to work with lower frequencies. I play a six string bass with a low B string (same as 5 string) and my wireless doesn't like to go that low...apparently, because the sound on that string disappears quite often. Most of the systems I've checked out designed for bass have a frequency response down to 40hz, but I didn't think that would be low enough. How can I find this out (I don't have an analyzer). Is there somewhere I can go to get this info? Of course I could be totally thinking the wrong thing here. Any ideas??

Try browsing the shure wireless site, or 'send them your question directly'. There's a link for both on the right side of the link I provided.

I wouldn't think that the frequency of the signal being sent to the receiver would have anything to do with the frequency of the note being played, but I'm a cord kinda guy.

Post the answer if you get one, I'm curious.

40Hz is low enough - in-fact most people can't hear much below 40Hz.
I believe 20Hz is the lowest people can hear.

40Hz is the low E; the low B is 31 Hz. The fundamentals are more felt than heard, but they should be there, or something is wrong somewhere.
