C coplinger New member Mar 3, 2004 #1 I recently bought a GK head which has a output for 2x16 ohm or 1x8 ohm cabinet. It specifically says not to hook up a 4 ohm cabinet. The cabinet I own is 4 ohms. Is there any way to turn 4 ohms into 8?
