Reel deep thoughts...
I think the answer is no, but I wanted to make sure. I know about the old BASF SM900 and SM911 but wasn't sure about the LP35...looking at some NOS sealed LP35...

Ah...I just answered another question I had, that being if there is a difference between LP35 and LPR35...there is isn't there? Both +6 1mil tape but the LP isn't back-coated and LPR is right?

This is great...

because I can now check off something I had on my to-do list today..."post replies to own thread"

CHECK!

Fun. :rolleyes::p

Not sure but I think it's a good tape, especially for 1mil transports;) and an attractive option over the rather expensive LPR35. Never heard of one going bad. I almost bought a bunch but then the shipping was more than the tapes... so I passed! :(

Cory,

LP35 and LPR35 are very different tapes. LPR35 is backcoated, but it also has much higher output.

EDIT: And neither have sticky-shed.

Ahhh...thanks, Tim. There was a lot of 12 sealed NOS LP35 tapes for 129 bucks shipped on eBay, but I do believe I'm lookin' fer LPR35.

What size of tape?.

I own more than 20 and never got a problem, but I had some cases with DP26.
