auto tune problem

How come when i use my Autotune plugin i get REALLY BAD comb filtering?
I'm probably making some stupid error...

Are you using it as an insert or a send effect?

i realized that when i process it instead it works fine. why is this??

Because of the inherent latency in the processing.... if you're using it as an effect send you're mixing the original signal along with the delayed version coming from the plug-in...
