Audix OM3

I'm about to buy 5 Audix OM3's to replace my old SM58's. Is this a good move or should I go back with 58's? I've always heard that the Om3 smokes the 58

I have an OM3 and an OM5. I really like them both. I have never really liked 58's so I'm not a good refrence. I DO like Sure beta 87's. The rest of my dynamic mics are various sennheisers and some 57's. Anyways, You may wanna think about getting just 1 OM5 in that bunch, because I think they sound quite different, and quite better on a lead vocal, especially girls, but compliment the OM3's.

I just bought an OM5 on Memorial day at GC. Sounds great on my Daughters voice. Pretty tight pattern though. You have to learn good mic technique with these. You can get out of the sweet spot real quick.
