Man I wish had the $270 that would have been quite the bargian.
I just remeber buying some Yamaha monitors that I thought were a version of the infamous NS 10's. They had an N or S in the model and 10 at the end at a pawn shop but they were really those cheapo on stage "Hot Spot" type of monitor. I found out later and needles to say my mixes were totally screwed up.
It was just my ignorance at the time. I don't think there was any intentional deception there but there were a few years of frustration before I figured it out so I learned to do lots of research before spending $$. Having a computer now certianly helps!
