Anyone here had any experiences with this mic? Its one im thinking about purchasing...i will be recording through a digi 002 rack into ProTools

I mostly record HipHop / Rap Music and I will also be recording a female singer and maybe a project with a group of female singers

Thank You

Use the search function above, Swurve. Lots written about the 3035 and similar in recent months.

I have two - used for mic'ing acoustics, male vocals, and drum overheads. Great mic for the price.

Good mic, but in its price range way surpassed by the CAD M179 for sound and versatility.

I have this mic. I think it sounds pretty good for a $200 condenser. I mostly used it on vocals.

I have a 3035 which I like on vocals and close micing amps, don't like it on acoustic instruments or overhead duty -not a nice off axis response

I had two of these and was happy to let one go, if someone stole it I'd save up for an AT4040 or AT4047.

I've used M179 once at a friends and it seems like a fine mic
