I wanted to get the USB version for the AT2020 however me being a idiot got the other model that required other parts. However when I got all the parts and plugged it all in the audio of my voice was fine but I got a bunch of white noise and buzzing sound.
This is my setup so maybe someone can explain what I can do.
I have the AT2020 Mic and it requires a XLR cable.
So I connect the mic to my pre-amp which is a ART Tube MP Studio Mic Preamp which does have 48 phantom power.
Once that is connected I connect it to my usb interface which is a Behringer UCA222
The way I connected the pre-amp to my UCA222 is with a Hosa Cable YPR103 Mono 1/4 Inch Male to Dual RCA F Y Cable
and connected that with a 1.5M Male to Male 2 RCA Composite AV Audio Video Cable Plug Gold Plated For HDTV connecting to the Behringer UCA222
Then I connected that to my laptop.
Once I got it setup I recorded a small clip and it sounded like this: youtube.com/watch?v=YuMXM_4-P70&feature=youtu.be
(yes that is me)
If you guys have tips as to how I can fix it and avoid all the background noise as much as possible it would be helpful.
If you are going to suggest to replace or get a new part please make it as cheap yet functional as possible.

The computer I use is a laptop and it is a hp HP Pavilion dv7-6c80us Entertainment Notebook PC and I realize it might be the fan, if you know what I can do to lower the sound since it does make a lot of noise.
