Audio-Technica 4040

I traded away this mic recently and now I kinda miss it. I was listening to some vocal tracks I recorded with it and to me they sound pretty nice. I now have a AKG C414 XLII, which I haven't had an opportunity to use. Seems like a great mic though, switchable polar patterns, bass roll-off, attenuator and of course that C414 sound.

Does anyone have an opinion on the AKG C414 vs. AT 4040. I know the AKG is more versatile, but how do you think they compare otherwise?

Yea I figured out a while back ---Don't sell or trade mic of any quality -- You'll regret it --- Especially a 4040!
