I have learned a LOT from a lot of different people on this board, including the folks who drove off Alan and Harvey, but I'm still very upset about it.

Well the people you should be upset with then are probably Alan and Harvey. Why don't you go ask them why they let a coupla' assholes get under their skin so much, and why the heartfelt pleas from their legion of rallying faithfuls weren't enough to convince them to stay (?). Damn childish and selfish what they did to you guys, if you ask me. Then making guys like me look like we're the ones to blame. Assholes.

I'm sure you'll want to rescind your recent comments and commend the strength of character which enabled him to shrug off "a coupla' assholes" and continue to contribute to the board.

By the way, I've enjoyed this thread immensely. I'd seen references to "as good as a Neumann" claims, but I'd never actually seen one.
