thats a fact: it will give you noizefloor;
i used an aphex aural exciter...which is allmost the same thing (if i'm correct)
and yes, it can add bottom end, and high end, BUT BUT BUT
if you send a signal that carries a little bit of hiss trough your aural exciter you will get real excited with all the noize !
it does add hiss and noize and distortion, it can't satisfy me, not with extreme settings, not with careful settings
give your money on decent compressors or other dynamic processors,
i do'nt even have a reverb unit in my rack,
i make sure i record everything as Clean as possible, and i fuck it up on the pc
saves me money, headaches and i think i work faster this way
