anyone's opinion on best monitors for fd-8?????

im still planing on getting an fd-8......what moinitors should I consider??????Im starting from scratch so im not looking at high end stuff....but not worthless junk either....any info is appriciated.....

I'm assuming you're talking about monitor speakers. I own a pair of Tannoy Reveal speakers. While on a business trip to New York I visited one of the music stores there. In my humble opinion the Tannoy's gave the most bang for the buck. While somewhat lacking on the low end, I find they provide a very flat response and a very good spatial image. It's very easy to tell where instruments are placed in the stereo field. I know there are better speakers available, but if you can find a store where you can compare multiple speakers definately give these speakers a listen.
