And I second that, NL5!!! You've been a big help on this. I could imagine what it would have been like trying to post mp3's and rendering them and then re-rendering....
 
Alright, kids. As promised, my files are uploading to the server as I write this (should be done by 1am Eastern Time). I'm also including a rough mix mp3 (though I did not have time to incorporate the new drums or ocnor's tasty licks in this mix) so you folks don't have to wait to hear the vocals. If anything needs to be changed/added, just let me know.

I also wanna give a shout out to my brother, Rokket; My cuz', l'il Rabbit, the undeniable Purge-o-later, Dr. Ocnor, all the folks at Northern Lights Studios, and last, but not least, my moms.

Oooh, and I can't leave out Auntie Shanira and Uncle Finster.

Oh, and Jesus. Gotta give it up for JC and the boyz, ya know.






Oh, and to whoever tries to mix this beast...good luck. :p

Cool, I'll go pull them down in about 3 hours when I get off work (this being in Japan a day ahead is a kick in the pants!) and see what's up.

Props on the shout out to Jesus!

Even if I get flamed for it. I don't care anymore.

The biggest hurdle for me was the drums, since I have never done anything outside of a stereo drum track. I got over that, and realized that it's going to take some serious tweeking to give all those guitars their own space in the mix. Got my work cut out for me!

I didn't tinker with em until last night, but it looks like I'll have to synch these up to the rest of the waves before I can upload the full project...

I'll try and get em synched and get the upload started before I leave for work...

My files are all synched with the click track. That is, 8-beat count-in, then start (at 85bpm). That should get you close.

Piece of cake getting 'em lined up with the project file... They were just starting about a measure earlier than the rest...

They are all now zipped into a 313 meg file called "done with you 316.zip"
and are uploading as we speak...

This is from my cable modem at home, so it'll be a couple hours... I've thrown the file on a CD also and will take it to work with me in case the upload crashes...

Great job on the vox Scrubs!!! :)

I'm anxious to hear the mixes. Have we decided how to do that? I say, start a new thread and open it to all takers, like the PMCs. But, whatever's cool with me.

I agree... Keep the whole community spirit thing working with this...

It doesn't have to be any sort of 'contest' ... Just let folks tinker with the tracks and post their work...

I know I'm going to... :D

I think this should definitely be a public mixing contest. This has to be one of the coolest experiences I've had on this board, and it just keeps getting cooler with more people getting involved.


In fact, I'm seeing a future way of doing the HR compilation CDs...hmm....
