what is this?
Please forgive if this is the wrong location to post...

I have been toying with the idea of making some new panels to treat my room with, and have been looking into making something similar to sE Electronics Reflexion Filter... All I have right now is 2 panels with a soft side for absorbing and a piece of MDF on the other for reflecting...

The idea I have stems from the different layers in the Reflexion Filter, and the way that the outer two layers are full of holes so it also acts as a diffusor. Has anyone tried using pegboard on both sides of their DIY panels at all?

If so, please give some input on how it sounds and/or tips on what the proper way to set something like this up would be...

If not, I'll post some samples in a few weeks when I get mine done. I'm going to Home Depot this weekend to get the material (unless I hear bad reviews).

Thanks for the input! ;)

Pegboard is often used but it's not really a diffusor. You can bend it and make it more of a refractor but in order to truly diffuse you need a raised surface.

Hmmm... You have a point. Well, it won't hurt to try it out for myself, pegboard is cheaper anyway, and I tend to learn better by making mistakes! :D
