Don't shoot me! :p I'm using it to get a nice quick "ballpark" sound on a demo I'm trying to do. Does anyone know if there's a way to assign more than one preset at a time to the same track?

what DAW are you using?

You should be able to launch as many separate instances of ezmix as your computer can handle on each track. It's like having a chain of effects, except you're chaining preset ezmix multi-effects instead. Every instance would have it's own preset, be it compression, eq, vocal processing etc...

Ez mix is a nice plugin, despite those that feel threatened of it's existence.

It is however an incredibly poor way to learn how to mix (actually, you don't learn how to mix).

Ez mix will do what you've stated - get it into the ballpark. As your mixing skills grow you won't need it. good luck!

A really newby question (again...sight):

I have a Digitech RP155 for my guitar. I plug the effects processor to the Audio Interface, and then just choose the preset and play it: rock on!

If I want a diffent sound, I work in the digitech to get it.
Sure I can apply effects like reverb, compressor etc, in the DAW. But it's different? How does this thing is suposed work? I saw videos on youtube, and people apply amps and effects and stuff to the guitar sound (I saw Guitar Rig and Ezmix).
Do they record the guitar in bypass mode and then apply the effects from GUitar Rig or Ezmix etc?????

Easy mix has its strengths and weaknesses and is in no way an "all in one fix" for any mix situation. I like it for its effects like distortion on guitars and vocals more then its "mixing" capabilities.
