#1 Next time you might want to just post this in one section of the forums.
#2 Vocals sound fine but the beat is from that lil scrappy song. It is ok I guess I cannot rip you too bad because my first song was recorded to a gangstar beat :) but just thought I would make you aware of that

I DID NOT PRODUCE THE BEAT.

Before I even listen to the track, I guess its safe to assume that the beat isn't that great. Either that, or the beat is so great that you couldn't possibly accept credibility for such a great beat.

I never post more then once, I only posted here as well, cuz I wasnt really gettin any feedback in the mp3 clinic. I thought Id get a lil more actual feedback/criticism in the hip hop forum...Everybody seems more caught up on the fact that it was recorded on an instrumental, not my own work, then commenting on the recorded part.

I do however have my own stuff, for an album Im putting together, I just wanted to see what everyone thought of the sound I had as far as tracking the vocals, and mixing them...

I know the lyrics and the guy rapping arent multi million dollar material, I just wanted to know if my part as an engineer sounds ok...?

i think you have a nice song..but to try and do the song over a lil Jon beat "lil Scrappy- No Problems" it doesnt sit well..you need to find some original beats for this song of God to have folks pay attention to the meaning of the song..cause when folks listen they will her the Lil Scrappy song not yours..i think you flow nice over a beat..just not that beat..keep up the good work...peace
