I am using Mac version of LOGIC VS 4.05 with my VS-1680.
When I open the Matrix window ( the window that has the keyboard on the left hand side ) there are 4 hot round buttons just bellow the Edit/Functions/View menu.
There's the "walking" person, the midi out button, the quantize square button. Then there's the something or other round button that I really don't know what it's for. Can't even figure out the iconized drawing on that button. Can't find it in the pdf manual.
Help please, what is that button?
OK, now here's my editorial rant:
I find it somewhat frustrating and a hard program to learn how to control/edit the audio recordings on my VS. I always seem to get so close to understanding what to do and then it just will not do what I think it should. It's really a badly documented program that Roland/Emagic put together. That's really too bad because it sure has left a bad taste here about purchasing Emagic upgrade. In fact Emagic pretends like it never even authorized Logic VS and provides absolutly no help. Roland has no clue to begin with. Too bad however I guess these two countries are still a war.
