Any good recording gear store in LA?

I'd check Pro-One AV in Burbank.

It's a pro oriented recording specialty shop that caters to the Burbank/Hollywood Media Complex. They may not have the selection of the big box stores, but the owner is a real pro.

Are they still around? I used to use them, but they had closed their retail location a while back. Did they re-open? Really good folks.

You have to be careful arround Van Nyes...last time I was there I was approached by this so called director...and next thing I knew I was doing all sorts of nasty things with these 2 chicks that seemed to be bisexual twins.
