Taking the slow road
Hey, Thanks Harvey, for that big mic thread. I just used the mxl 990 LDC at two feet, just outside the nearfield and wow, another sound. I really liked this one, very balanced and usable. Acoustic guitar 1. Try 2 tomorrow....
I'm almost thru that thread, I'll be going back. I'm gettin' ideas.
Kinda shocking, to find a new, really great sound and it sounds awesome for a few reasons. Flattering, high levels, balanced, no noise, no room and therefore, easy to add reverb. Very cool.
