Those things are cool as hell! You don need no nuthin. Just get a mic and plug it in. The original not-so-portastudio.
 
i won my 388 for 300, and he included a brand new set of record/playback heads in their wrapping.

it cost 75 to ship it got here, ive only had it 4 days and its the best unit ive ever recorded on. and i've owned several different recorders.

i love it
 
Gosh, man, you got a real deal there!

The heads probably cost $1000, alone!
 
Fun! Get to know every piece of that machine...transport, controls, knobs. get some caiglube and clean everything, it does wonders.

Post an experimental song as soon as you get it!
