Do you mean with an emulated line out on the amp or something? Those dont sound very good.

i have a preamp out and in.....i just want to nice sound from the head so i can record with it

Do you mean out of the speaker output on the AMP?..If you do that make sure you have some weenies and buns on hand (and maybe a fire extinguisher)..there is a tremendous power difference between a speaker output and a line out...mixing board in's=mic's, keyboards, effects...amp out=speaker

But youd be better off with the sound of the speakers as well as the head.
