Ambient/rock instrumental, with a kick at the end :^)

Care to give it a try? The song is called "Traveler", and it's my first ever song that I composed and played everything on. I recorded it here at home using my Roland VS880. I'm going to start work on my third song this weekend, hopefully my muse will meet me here ;)

The vocals sounded muffled like all the high end was gone.
The percussion sounded much crisper.
 
Erm...if you're referring to my vocal track, "Walking With the Angels", then yes, the vocals are on the warm side...but on "Traveler", the 'vocal' track is actually the choral setting on my keyboard, just adding an ambient melodic counterpoint. Back to the vocal on my other tune, yeah, next time round I'll try to get more highs out of it. Part of it were the effects I used on my voice...I wanted the whole song to sound pretty smooth and flowing...but I agree my vocal could have been a tad crisper. I've remixed and EQd that track several times to it's current, final state...it was a lot more murky before :)

My Apologies for reviewing the wrong tune. The tune, 'Traveler' was very similar to 'Walking with the Angels' but despite being devoid of vocals was much more developed.
The EQ situation was much more in focus.
