well it's like this
recently I've dealing with stuff that I've been dropping back in order to stop the digi clipping in the mix & I've had to do quite an amount of it, trying to get acoustic & voice up to a reasonable consistant level without any grating going on
I got around it & managed to get not bad results. Recently I've been hearing mixes I did a while back & even though I know 100% there is no clips,distorted, overdriven things my ears keep trying to fool me otherwise
I mean hell I even hearding what I thought was level overdriving/clipping on Donald Fagen's new solo venture "Morph The Cat" & that's just not possible.............is it??
so am I going mad?? I feel fine other than the world is starting to distort around me
