Tune the guitar please

also the vocals done have enough presence
 
both tracks of rhythm guitar sound out of tune to me... and by presence i mean try EQing around 6k to boost a little presence needs more energy
 
Alright thanks man. Do you think more energy should have gone into the recording or is it just an eq issue?
 
its a mixing thing for sure, which EQ obviously falls into that... maybe triple tracking vocals to give you a wider sound... i think that would help.
 
Triple tracking!? Good god. I didn't even double track.
 
triple tracking consists of having your best take front and center and the loudest... then another set of takes panned opposite each other at low volume. mix them so you can barely hear that its triple tracked, then send all of them to a bus... add reverb and perhaps a slight amount of delay and some EQ on that bus.
 
Add all 3 takes to a bus? What would be the point of adding delay to all 3?
 
just try it.

you don't want to add reverb or delay on any of the individual tracks.... just the bus that they are all being sent to.

On the individual tracks its find to EQ and Compress ... nothing to wet the sound BEFORE its sent to the bus... once they are all in the bus then adding things to wet them will make them mold together and "trick" the listener to thinking its 1 take...

look at the thread i just made in the mp3 mixing clinic.. most of those vocals are triple tracked. and most harmonies are double tracked.
 
Alright. I just reposted the song. Played with the vocals. Few guitar fixes.
