... anybody have any info on 'em? found a couple online threads but info is pretty scarce. sounds like a rare "sleeper" ... i just picked up a model 8.28. i showed the schematics to a tech and he said it looks like a neve copy. real simple routing, small mixer, looks real cool. british made and it has a british only power outlet hard wired into the thing, so i can't power it up right now. i'm gonna have the tech go through it before i use it but it'd be cool to find some more info while i'm waiting.

its replacing my old teac model 5 ...

and it has a bunny rabbit logo (bitchin !)

WOW! in 30+ years of being involved with mixing in one form or another, this is the first time i've even heard of 'alice' consoles.

thanks for the links! this is a simple 8x2 mixer, '70s era (?), no busses, 2 effects sends, has a 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid. each channel has direct outs as well. transformer mic pres i believe. has a limiter that can be applied to the mix buss with variable threshold. bunny rabbit logo.

the designer of the mixer is ted fletcher. apparently cat stevens had a larger alice console in his studio in the early '70s.
