Ive had a sr-16 a few years ago & got a new one & i cant remember how to set the bass drum pad to trigger double bass. I remember setting 2 bass drum kicks in a pattern then somehow assigning it to the bass drum pad & holding some other pad with the bass drum pad and it would trigger double bass. I hope somebody understands what im talking about because im racking my brain trying to figure it out. Thanks

I still dont understand how to do it, it says to sound stack you need to erase a drum pad but it wont let me. If you can do it can you explain it step by step

Make sure it's a user pattern. You can't edit the preset ones.

It is a user pattern & there is nothing that states about erasing a drum pad it just has erase pattern. And you can only copy pad to another pad, nothing about copying a pattern to a pad.

Is the SR-16 Still a staple as a drum machine? Should everybody have one?

I figured out step mode so everything is cool. Step mode allows you to do anything you really want.

Boomtap: You mean you don't have one!
It's just arrived in its latest incarnation as a MIDI drum kit under the Ion brand (for less than £300 GBP). See this months Sound on Sound.
This machine just goes on and on - a bit like A Reel Person's gear list.
