alesis compressor power supply?

I scored an alesis 3630 compressor. No power supply, but I have a power supply from a digitech geetar processor which works on the compressor. But I have a ? about the mili amps....is it o.k.to use a 9vac 1300 mili amp power supply with the compressor which calls for a 9vac 830 mili amp power supply?

I dont want to screw it up, as I paid 20 bucks for it at a garage sale...

Yes it will be fine. As long as its 9 volt and the milliamps is higher than what the original is it will work great.
