Alesis 320USB monitors not working with Cubase Elements 8

I'm running Cubase Elements 8 in Windows 10 and I bought the Alesis 320USB speakers. I've been unable to get playback with Cubase, other playback (iTunes, etc) all work fine. Any suggestions much appreciated, thanks!
