Welcome to the forums 2001 - I think you've just learnt the hard way, and it's good that you've apologised - everyone's pretty helpful here generally, but also we're a bit touchy sometimes with overly attitudinal posters as you've seen - I'm sure you'll get along and find lots of useful information from these guys as you get further questions.

We all thank you, and just for the record I'm not offended. I'm just honest, and sometimes it comes off as offended, but I'm not. There are a lot of people here who are sincerely interested in helping a guy get better sound.

But I still would like to know what that Blue Light Special $20 mic is......

Sure......are you serious that it was really a $20 mic?? Like I said, your sound wasn't that bad at all to my ears, so if you got it with a super cheap mic I'd be interested to know what it was.

I am not sure of the exact specification becuase I threw away he box it came in. The brand is "Labtec". It is one of those chatting type of headsets.
