What is the best way for me to record drum tracks from my sequencer to Cubase or any other program? This is my biggest hurdle so far for recording.
I can create some great beats with my yamaha motif and i want to write tracks around them but what is the best way for doing this? The easiest way seems to be getting a really solid mix of the drum parts and recording each one into cubase and then using the loops.
Would it be better to record the midi data then go back and record each drum sound to a seperate track? I've tried this but it takes forever.
What other techniques are there that people use? I feel like once i overcome this obstacle i'll be golden. Thanks in advance for any advice.
