ADAT to computer? (from a Dummy!)

Howdy:

I've been recording for years, beginning on old 4-track tape machines, and more recently on two ADAT LX20s. I'm now attempting to convert the ADAT tracks to computer to get into the bold new age of 'computer recording' which I've read so much about. The problem is: I have no idea what card and/or interface I need. All the options I read about just ad more confusion to the puzzle. I have Windows XP on a Dell comp. Can anyone help answer this vexing, but naive question?

The best thing to get is a used Moto 2408 II off ebay for about 300-400. That will give you 24 channels of ADAT in/out plus 8 anolog in/out.
