Acidized .Wavs in Reaper

Sorry if this has been asked before - I see a few similar threads but I thought I'd start my own.

I have a bunch of acidized .wav loops from Drums on Demand. Can I alter their tempo but preserve their pitch in Reaper?

Absolutely. In fact I believe when you pull an acidized loop into reaper it will adjust it to tempo withour altering pitch automatically. However, if you change tempo, the loops do not adjust automatically and you need to do it yourself. Al you have to do is hit alt and left-click and drag the end to the correct measure or beat.

There are also some settings in Item properties to look at (right-click on item in timeline) and make sure "preserve pitch while changing rate" is checked.
