Re: Well To Be Fair...
Some of it is pretty hard to take when somebody with 3 months of recording experience tells you, "Hey, my opinion is just as good as yours, and I have a right to say what I think". It makes some of us a little crazy when that happens. I know when that happens to you Weston, you probably start to think, "Why do I even bother?".
Stephen's visits to some of the boards is a flatout tragedy. He's one of the most briiliant, innovative microphone designers in the world. And he gets treated like dirt. Almost every microhone manufacturer in the world owes Stephen a huge debt (which they'll never admit in public) for his pioneering work in low mass diaphragm design.
But yeah, I guess you better put on your thick skin when you wander into some of these forums.

If you remember, I got driven out of here when I first came on board. It's hard when you're dealing with people who don't know you or your background, and in a place where anybody with a keyboard is on "equal footing".Recording Engineer said:...Bruce Bartlett and Stephen Paul have posted on these pages too. Stephen had his throat jump-down enough by one to not want to come-back and I do know what happened with Bruce.
