Tim, I just wanted to say that we've sort of been doing our WaveLab mastering in a formulaic manner. The limiter is a plug-in, but I used almost exactly the same amount as on the other material. Which, in hind-sight, was probably not even necessary as this particular recording is much thicker and less dynamic. I will try to listen harder in the future. Thank you for lending us your ears again. You've never failed to be anything but helpful.

They aren't that bad. Just do your magic, and all will be well! ;)
 
Oh! THAT "I only Want to be with You"!!!! This is an awesome version. Drums aren't THAT bad. They're not awesome, but after reading this thread, I expected them to really suck, which is far from the case. Awesome awesome vocals. Reminds me of Cheap Trick, which is a great thing because I think Robin Zander is one of the great under-rated vocalists of all time. Hey man, there's nothing to be ashamed of here boys, this is a great version of a good song.
It's no "What you were meant to be", but they can't all be masterpieces.
 
I love Cheap Trick, and Billy Squier is a big vocal influence too.
