I love that sound, Dog. Sitting a little back in the mix it will be great. It's got bite.

Thanks, RAMI. Now, if I can just sit down and learn the song properly.... :(

thats a nice bass line Dogmann, it would probably break through the mix better than mine...
I`ll send you a rythm part, asap.
I have it in my studio, so I have to send it to ya tomorrow. :)

ps does anybody want my homemade "siren" :D
Actually, post it also. When I go to mix this, I want as much individual stuff as I can get....Thanks.
Ed

P.S. I just want to mix my own version when I get some of my stuff ready...For my own entertainment.

I'm leaving this for anyone that wants to mix it...I won't even try...Do whatever you want...big reverb on the drums...no reverb on the drums...whatever you want....you know what would really be cool? To give this to a ttal outsider that we trust and let them mix it...but now I'm talking crazy talk...must be the Tequila...it's only a cover for fuck's sakes!!!

that could be cool Snakedog, just jump into it full throttle...
multilayered queen style :D
That would be awsome.. :)

Ok, tried a different tone for the bass. Let me know what you think.
Bass
I mixed it in pretty loud, and this is all I've learned so far. A few clunkers, and i am slow. Don't wait on me. Nakatira, I'd like to get at least one of your rythum tracks, as it might help the timing issues I'm having.
And damn, I don't know how RAMI got this so quick. I've done about 30 takes of just this part, and am about ready to give up on it....

Oh yeah, this bass rocks dog :D

Thanks. I could really use some rythum guitars for this. My bass sounds so mechanical, and Ive only got about the first 3 minutes of it learned. Just listened to the clip you posted, and it sounded really good. I think if you each did a rythum guitar or 2, and all the solo's, it could then be mixed to sound very awesome. I want to try some vocals to this, if I ever get the bass part down.

Highway star rocks! :)

You can always guarantee that Snakedog is up for a jam track :D I might not be the fastest, but when I have time, I like to rock

Currently I'm distracted by something stupid... a piece of space rock that dogman & I might write lyrics for...

If you listen to the opening riff of warpigs, there`s like a siren "alarm"
that goes like this uuuuuwwwaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuwaaaaa.
I dident have any synts samples available, so I screamed it with tons of delay and etc.

Oh I see. Yeah I was listening to the original and was wondering "what am I going to do for that siren sound?" I was thinking of using some guitar effects, but then when I heard yours... yeah, using the voice sounded pretty cool. Nice job on the song, really!

thanks snakedog just remember to throw in a lot of reverb and delay the whole siren sound depends on it. :)

When I did the "ahhs!" in the original demo I posted of "The Immigrant Song" I used my typical reverb plugin, but I pulled the slider over farther then it's ever been (to the max)

I really do like to sing though, people tell me I'm not that great, but that never stops me :)

singing is fun, I`m really out of practice now, but doing tracks and rehearsing really gets me back were I wanna be.

Its been far to long since I did any live work... :)
