A Cleaning question

what should i use to clean the pinch roller?
i found a web site that said that you can use isopropyl alcohol
but is this safe to do? the guy at radio shack said that it shouldnt
damage the roller if you use it sparingly
but what are the facts?

Since when did anyone at Radio Shack ever know what the fuck they were talking about?!??! :eek:

You definitely DON'T want to use isopropyl alcohol on the pinch rollers - it dries out the rubber.

Use specified pinch roller cleaner (available at pro studio shops and electronic component stores - such as Active Electronics)...
