I have a question about using control surfaces with softwar. I know that a mixer is used in the recording chain before the computer to record multiple tracks.
Does a control surface (such as the digi002)) allow you to manipulate the tracks once they are recorded into the computer? That seem like a good way to work. If so does this control surface method work better than just using a mouse to control tracks?
Finally i know that the digi002 works with pro tools. Are there control surfaces that will control the tracks of other software like sonar?
Thanks again (this forum is awsome)
