I've got a bunch of 1/2" and 1" 3M 996 on precision reels that I'm selling off. Some of the reel have a small section with SSS about 80% in. I thouught that 996 did not get SSS but a little research shows that there are a number of reports.
IN any case I've got these reels up on ebay and will sell them to the HR crowd if you are interested for the same deal as on eBay. Just PM me.
The tape is sold as is (as that I've not tested them) but the real value is in the gold precision reels. So if you want one now is the time to get it. The price is quite reasonable (1/2" $30 and 1" for $45)
