$75,000 for a stereo EQ?

It's just like anything else: as long as someone is willing to pay $75,000, then that's what it's worth. Is a '59 Les Paul really worth $250,000? That's what Mike Campell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers paid for one, so that's what it's worth. I don't agree with it, but no one's putting a gun to my head and making me buy it, so I guess that's free market capitalism. LOL!

From the sublime to the ridiculous dept.:

The link in the original post now takes me to a "vintage" Realistic 10 band equaliser with a reserve price of $9.99...and no bids yet.

That's just eBay redirecting you to something it thinks is similar to the original listing, which has been removed....probably because there was some kind of BS with the listing.

well wait a minute you actually get two channels...so that's not bad for $75,000.
it comes with a -20db pad too.

probably works best with a U67, so better buy a couple of those too...

and it comes with the power supply... so yeah man...I bid $78,000

Amazing what some things are worth ..... To the right person.

Hey! Henry!

I have a classic 1983 15 metre mic cable I could sell you if you're the right person. Neutrik connectors, nice covering of classic British dust for that warm, European sound...and a proven provenance that it once miked Margaret Thatcher.

I'd normally ask $75,000 but for you I could do it for $60,000.

Mighty tempting there, Bob.

'Fraid so. I'm not proud of it but I met her and miked her a bunch of times.

I provided and still own the wireless AT microphone used by Hillary Clinton when she did her famous crying bit on national TV.

Must be worth millions!

Hillary's tears makes any microphone sound ..... That much better.
maybe one day when there is a Hillary museum it will be placed under glass.
