I provided and still own the wireless AT microphone used by Hillary Clinton when she did her famous crying bit on national TV.

Must be worth millions!

Hillary's tears makes any microphone sound ..... That much better.
maybe one day when there is a Hillary museum it will be placed under glass.

You got Jimmy Swaggart's to go with it?

I think I'll wait till things washes ashore my way... As like the Amek M2500 minus the power supply for $350 (just the patch bays should be worth just that).

The only Amek board I've used is the BC1 but that was superb and became a great favourite of mine--we had it in an audio post production/voice booth suite.

The M2500 has a reputation for sounding good but I've heard a lot of the ones on the market are suffering from leaky electrolytics. Make sure it all works before handing over your money.

You are all correct that people will pay huge money for items, how about a $117,000.00 for 1 CD with a platinum case with diamonds in Japan?

On the other hand it is extremely satisfying when we obtain an old item for a bargain price, like a friend of mine who was given an old violin only to find out later it was a rare one from Italy worth over $20,000.00. I also purchased an Acuphase amplifier for $250.00, and it is still going strong after 20 years in my home studio. They cost up to $15,000 new. Does anyone else have a similar story?
