What tubes do you like in the 5150 II? :D

6l6's are the power tubes, probably 12ax7's for the pre, not really sure how many though.

Are you looking for the model number, or are you trying to find a good brand?

My bad, I got the stock ones, and I wanna replace em all. I'm just asking for some recommends.

Even though we have amps that live at pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum, I just bought a full retube kit from EuroTubes, which is the U.S. distributor for JJ Tubes. Made in the Slovak Republic, they're really very good tubes. I don't have much to compare them against since this was my first retube and the only tube amp I've ever owned, but the difference between the stock Sovteks in my Traynor and the JJ Tubes is certainly enough to warrant the cost (a little over $90 for 3 preamp tubes, 4 power tubes, and S&H).

While I can't speak that these tubes would be what you want for your amp, I can certainly speak for the excellent customer service at EuroTubes. Absolute top-notch internet business conduct. The website is a little outdated (in style points at least), but don't let it scare you away!

If you email Bob there and tell him a bit about your amp and your playing style, he'll personally respond with advice or recommendations.
