man ive been thinking about that one...in line for some new equipment when I get back from the UK...my only worry is that Ill end up not using it much..not that it doesnt look and sound excellent just that it always seems easier just to use Live

kc, you might not use it as much because don't you have Sampler in Live? idk, the workflow with maschine is the best, most intuitive workflow I've ever experienced. I use Maschine as a VST in Live and sequence both of them, but lately, after the 1.6 update, I haven't opened Live

yeah Ive got sampler..I use it quite a bit

I just like the idea of having something physical in front of me...and I heard that maschine will host vsts as well??

what did 1.6 offer? I havent heard much since it came on the market at first and then it was a bit limited midi wise

1.6 came with a bunch of new features, VST/AU hosting, VST instrument hosting, Pad link, individual swing and groove settings per pad, more effects slots (a total of 4 effects per pad/group/master and more. It really made it into a powerhouse, I'm just having fun making music differently, I like to change it up a lot.

sounds interesting...I just bought a moog slim phatty so when the dust settles on that purchase Ill look at this maybe

just scratching the surface of it now...but you like play five notes then suddenly the entire tracks based around those five notes...its a monster and sounds fantastic

but everything starting from basic waves, theres some presets but nothing Id really use..Im trying to learn dubstep basslines by getting the modulation synced with the oscillator...well I think thats what Im doing lol
