48 Second Break

I'm knee deep (okay, neck deep) in a double CD project for someone else. Recording, mixing, writing & playing all sorts of extra parts. I love her music, and it's a pleasure to work on--but my head is swimming in cellos, drums, flutes, brass, violins, eqs, comps, 'verbs--and its easy to forget why I got into this to begin with.

So tonight I just got simple and grabbed my acoustic (after finishing another of her tunes ). I ended up with this 48 second break. For me, it's a nice reminder that it really is about making music first.

That was a nice interlude Bob, I just got home from an afternoon gig and my ears are still ringing-it is mellow and peaceful sounding! It has a bit of a Marshall Tucker sound to it as well.

I second that for a full song. I don't say this about much, but that was beautiful. I love acoustic guitars, and dude you made it sing a very beautiful song. I just love throwing every kind of anything I can find into a song, but this is so simple, and so good that if makes me want to rethink that. Very nice job. Please make it into a full track.
