I've been scanning the forums and google for hours trying to learn about the US-428's compatibility with Home Studio 2004. From what I can tell it works with Nuendo, Cubase, and Sonar. It even incorporates itself as a control surface in HS04.
Here's what I'm running into. I want to record four channels, all audio and no midi (four mics). When I select the input type from the audio menu in HS04 it gives me the option to use my soundcard, US-428 A : B, or US-428 C : D. With either of the 428 options selected it works great, but will only record on the selected two channels. I'm very new to this. Can anyone give me advice on how to use HS04 with the 428? Is it even compatible? What software should I be using?
