Got a strange thing going on with a 424mkii - If I plug the RCA plugs into the "line out" jacks, usually (but not always), the Left channel is dead. The wierd part is if I unplug both L & R, then plug them into the "Monitor out," I hear a slight electrical buzz (like plugging a guitar into an amp). After that, I can return both cables the the "Line out" jack and they work fine.
This has happened dozens of times, and the wierd fix has worked every single time. Any ideas? I'm sure it's a sort of short, but the "fix" is so bizzare, I don't know what to think.
