414 multitrack & the tmd1000?

i want to expand my "studio", which is a 414 portastudio....my question is this: will the TMD work with the portastudio, and if so, how? I was told yes, but if they cant function together...will the TMD work with a 564 minidisc multitrack? im kinda new to this and i wanna learn....so please help me out.

Do you mean can you sync them?

Do you mean can you connect the two together?
