$39.99 Behringer Condenser

This is just nuts a $39.00 studio mic. I found one review and said it sounds better than the MXL990. Wow what a great mic for your up and comming toddler who wants dad's studio stuff. I might buy one for the heck of it.

I know a lot of ppl here critisize Behringer (n some cases, they are right) but Their B2 was really great value for money. Haven't tried this one, but who knows...

Waaal, first of all it was on sale several months ago for $29.95, and second of all they didn't have any then, and third of all they don't have any now.

So don't hold your breath.

My thoughts exactly! Experimenting with low-noise components, a different amp circuit. What the hell, by two so you can compare.

The link, btw, is currently saying that the mics are on order. I put my email on the list to be notified when they come in. I hope the mics were NOT just a flash in the pan.

Behringer c1

I e-mailed behringer to get some more specs on this mic like spl and a freq graph. they replied by saying the mic hasn't been released yet and no specs will be released untill it is. Its supposed to be out 4th quarter this year. I think the mic will be the ultimate bang for the buck (at least i hope it will)

Yes the original release date was supposed to be 2nd quarter 04 but they put it back to 3rd quarter and increased the cost slightly.

It means "Large diaphragm"
As in large diaphragm condenser.
