hey peeps...looking to sell my 32 ghost le. it is available december 18 unless this is a deal breaker for someone who wants to throw me money now. :D

zero issues except a few scratchy pots which i'll clean and a few scratches/wear on the fader area. asking 1750 plus ship or come and pick it up. i'm just south of cleveland ohia in berea. i also have some old patchbays/cabling that came with it which you are welcome to.

i have the box it was shipped in. i'm the second owner. i do love it and was looking at doing the creation thing but am now looking at upgrading to a different board for a wee bit more (isn't that the way?)

i'll have pictures for ya with in the next week. just throwing it out there for those who may be interested now.

if you have questions feel free to ask them here in public so those who are also interested may benefit. pm is cool too.

very sorry, i do not do paypal - i find it a waste of money. cash in person/money order/ check is best. i'll ship how ever you'd like but buyer covers costs. i'd rather do continental US. i've bought and sold on gear slutz/rap/ tape op/ home recording and ebay but cannot do the latter any more...too many bad sellers.

is there anything else besides the fact that this looks remarkably similar to the gearslutz post i just made? let me know!

Thanks!

i'd love to see some pics. please PM me when you get em......

thanks!
wade

wade, i shall. i'm stuck at home with a major cold and was gonna borrow a camera from work. getting to it asap.

thanks for the interest.

Mike

Mike, what kind of cabling do you have, and are you looking to sell any of it separately?

thanks mike. not sure shipping from Ohio to VA is exactly my cup of tea, but there's interest. ;-)

does this one have the meter bridge?

cheers,
wade

this is sold to a local pending payment, wade. sorry - it went fast. i will let you know if it falls through.

i had it shipped from colorado to cleveland and it came through- btw. fed ex ground service really rules.

AdamP - how are ya? (dbx super gate owner right?) I don't think so but i will know in a few. i have to see about converting my 24 channel snake to a Dsub or something that will further complicate my life! (just paid 400 for it!) i can let you know though. if you are looking for something in particular let me know...i'm sure i'll need a few more nickels for the transition.

Mike

Yep that's me. Only thing I'm really looking for is unbalanced TS to raw end, to go from my insert sends and returns on my board to my punchblock. I'm at the point where I'm just considering lopping this 24 channel TS snake in half, but that seems a bit too permanent for me just now.

What board are you getting?

wade sorry - it went fast. i will let you know if it falls through.
no worries, i'm glad you were able to unload it. $1700 was on the upper end of what i'd want to put into a console without going to tape (and then back through the console for mixing), anyway.....although hard to beat $55 per channel. :D

cheers,
wade

adam - cool. i cannot part with the snake as i'll need it for my mobile set up sorry...check redco though. edit: there is a snake up your alley for way cheap on gear slutz. i just posted under it. i'd grab it.

it's a sound workshop 34C. I'm sending the email confirming purchasing now. it just won't fit through my bedroom (studio) door if the legs won't come off...

details, details...*starts chainsaw*

wade - there is a studio master P7 for sale on gear slutz for 700 bucks by a guy "Ken Paul". He's in the chicago area. i seriously thought about selling my ghost for it. those boards completely rule. a *little* noisey but i've mixed acoustic jazz records through another studio master and had no problem. check it out. i think they smoke the ghost.

yeah, i saw that studiomaster. he doesn't want to ship it, which is probably why it's so cheap. i'm in VA and don't think i'll be making any winter roadtrips. :p

there was someone on GS selling a 12ft console a few weeks back.....for $3500 (down from like 10K)......it's so big that it wouldn't fit in my studio. well....it WOULD.....but barely. and it'd have to go into the live room (12x20) instead of the control room (9x13).

cheers,
wade

yeah i saw that 55 channel thing. hilarious... and sad it goes for so cheap for the owner.

i'm driving to boston from cle for the board i'm getting. probably two days after christmas. 10 hours each way...probably in a rental. i'm sure i'll hit a snow storm.

good luck.

Mike

Round trip to Boston to get the board? I think you're the one who we should be wishing good luck. I was a bit miffed about having to drive from Cleveland to Erie to meet a guy when I bought my CAD.

Thanks for the heads up about the stuff at GS.

a trip for a decent board is nothing. kids today...why back in the old days we used to have to record to 4 tracks for a couple years which we drove to chicago to get...now you get unlimited tracks from your 99 dollar computer from best buy...spoiled! :p:D:rolleyes:

just kidddin'...thanks for the luck.

ah...CAD? how cool and convenient. you know, the guys out at "Z cables" in aurora are ex cad guys. i think the owner's name is dennis. super nice guys. if you don't know em and run into a problem, look 'em up.

see ya.

Mike

What board are you getting in Boston?

I just got a Soundcraft Ghost 32 in the area for $2500 - thing looks brand new and has all the automation and stuff.

it's a soundworkshop 34C.

it's an hour west of bean town, actually.

you'll like the ghost. that's a good price as well. it is a great board.

You mean Q Cables? They're out of Ashtabula, which happens to be my hometown. I've communicated with Dennis a couple times.

Where are you working out of these days, anyway?
