Dang, anybody else having a lot of luck with 3.2.3? Despite its somewhat bulky interface, it's working really well for me. I'm getting usability up to 95% CPU load where with 3.2 I was only getting 85 or so before dropouts would occur. Fruity Loops VSTi and a couple other issues I mentioned in my infamous rant thread have been fixed!

I installed it last night out of frustration, and you know what a no-no it is to upgrade in the middle of a project....but this time it went smooth as silk!

Slackmaster 2000

Hey Slack...thanks for reminding me...I gotta upgrade and forgot..

Peace,
SoMm

So far so good on the upgrade. I had to the other day because I changed a midi setting and it wouldnt let me open n-track without crashing. I had to uninstall and reinstall it. I am not gonna play with midi this time around ;).

Everytime I use this program I learn some new feature, I love it. I have been using it quite abit, and aside from midi troubles it hasn't crashed but once in the last couple of weeks.

It seems to be working great for me, too.

I just put together a new DAW and had
32 tracks (stereo 24bit/44.1kHz, no plug-ins)
running and the cpu meter only hit 11%.

Now the only problem is that I have nothing to whine about and I have to get back into production.

:=))

Aside from a midi controller issue, this has been THE most stable Upgrade Flavio has uploaded!!

Cheers to da man!!

Yessir...

The new upgrade is steady as a rock...

Somehow I imagine Flavio to have long wind-blown hair and a shirt that's opened to his navel...

Thanks for the heads up!I dont use it that much but I did buy it so I might as well keep it up to date.LOL

I'm pretty sure this is the version I have. I had an older version which didn't work with Waves 3.5 (no sound would pass through when a plug-in was enabled) but I downloaded the latest as of last week and Waves 3.5 works flawlessly. I finally have a new system (you've heard me complain about my old PIII 450 mhz machine for years) - a Dell 4550, 2.53 ghz, 256MB RAM (I will upgrade to 512 from Crucial.com), 533 FSB, 60 GB HDD, 48x CD/RW, all for under $600!

It seems extremely stable, except for the weird problem I described in the PC/Soundcard forum. I was on the N-Track forum last night and folks seemed impressed with this build too, so hats off to Flavio!
